Our analysts identified $80 billion in fraud-related risks across federal programs, including 1.4 million questionable Social Security numbers linked to $79 billion in relief funding and 40,000 potential misrepresentations of income involving more than $860 million across multiple relief programs.

We launched a joint initiative with the Federal Communications Commission (FCC) Office of Inspector General to design and implement risk models for three key FCC programs, collectively totaling nearly $11 billion in funding.

As of October 2025, we have provided investigative support to more than 50 federal law enforcement and OIG partners on over 1,200 pandemic-related investigations with more than 24,000 subjects and a potential fraud loss of $2.5 billion.

Investigations by the PRAC Fraud Task force–made up of more than 50 agents from 16 OIGs–has resulted in 74 sentences and 131 years of prison time with 124 subjects charged to date, with over $40 million in restitution to the government.

Our data analytics team built a predictive model developed for the Pension Benefit Guaranty Corporation OIG that has assisted $261.9 million in civil and administrative recoveries to date.

We published Chapter 5, “Cross-Cutting Projects,” the final chapter of the Blueprint for Enhanced Program Integrity. We also made all pandemic data available for users on our new Download the Data page.

Our communications team shared key findings from our reports and Fraud Prevention Alerts with our stakeholders to demonstrate how our data analytics capabilities can help agencies detect fraud risks and strengthen program integrity before funds are disbursed.
