Promotion of the Humanities Teaching and Learning Resources and Curriculum Development

Humanities Initiatives at Colleges and Universities, Community Colleges, Historically Black Colleges and Universities, Hispanic-Serving Institutions, and Tribal Colleges and Universities are designed to strengthen humanities teaching and learning at these institutions. Humanities Connections seeks to expand the role of the humanities in undergraduate education at two- and four-year institutions by supporting innovative curricular approaches that foster productive partnerships among humanities faculty and their counterparts in the social and natural sciences and in pre-service or professional programs, in order to encourage and develop new integrative learning opportunities for students.Dialogues on the Experience of War supports the study and discussion of important humanities sources about war to help U.S. military veterans and others think more deeply about the issues raised by war…
